I am sorry it has taken so long to reply to your letter.
We have completed our move in and now very happy.
Helen and I were very pleased with the way you dealt with the whole process of selling out house. As you may remember we had been there for 42 years from a bare block of land, and never done anything like this before.
We were constantly getting letter drops from real estate people looking for business. We invited one to appraise our house. His estimate and advice was similar to yours, his approach was not quite as friendly as your team.
As selling had a very high fear factor for us, we asked our friends who had sold their homes, it was from their experience we made the decision to engage you at Christies Beach Professionals. I have always found word of mouth to be the best way to do business.
Your detailed advice on how to prepare our old property for sale was very good and with your recommendation of Chris Chromb to do the gardening. He did such a good job and we had him come to our new unit to prepare the floor for our garden shed.
You and Tristan presented very friendly and professional from the first meeting.
It was from that first meeting we felt at ease and believed we could reach our goal.
During the sale preparation, it was nice of you, Kevin, to call in from time to time even though Tristan was handling the sale. We thought that was caring as a business Managing Director.
Tristan was very friendly and polite in his dealings with us; he was always available if we wished to contact him. He phones many times to keep us in contact with the process. Nothing was too much trouble for him; every question was answered in detail in a manner we understood. We were impressed in the manner Tristan managed the process to the first open day.
Tristan’s feedback after the first open was detailed with an air of confidence. This made us feel hopeful a sale was a reality, which it was.
Final negotiations during the cooling off period was a bit stressful, but Tristan was always very confident that he could achieve a bit more after the monetary push back caused by some points in the building inspection.
He did achieve a good price and our move to our new place was a reality.
I would like to thank you for the choice of conveyancer. She did a very good job, very friendly and helpful explaining all the processes needed to complete the paper work and money.
She worked nicely with the retirement village management to complete the finance side of moving into the retirement village.
Dealing with the Kevin Barry Professionals was easy and a pleasure.

Graeme Walker was the agent who acted for us.

Yes, very happy with the service Brian Pounsett provided to us. The house + Land package would only attract a certain type of buyer which took time to find but with Brian’s help, we achieved our sale with acceptable price.
Brian was always available with phone calls and advice until our place was sold.

I would highly recommend Tristan Edwards to anyone. His down to earth professional approach was evident from the start.
Importantly he listened to me and my opinions on my house and the market and got a great feel and understanding about where I was coming from. He remained completely cool, calm and collected throughout negotiations even when asked a thousand questions by me about his strategy!! His patients in dealing with a number of parties, interested buyers and my partner and I (separately in some instances) as we are separated was second to none.
He strived high on the price (at my request) and came VERY close to delivering it. We are very happy with the result. He constantly called me with updates on his strategy and with how negotiations were progressing. I am not easily impressed so this review is even more impressive knowing how picky I am.
