After much thought and deliberation, we decided to sell our home at Hallett Cove and move to a retirement village. We are both fit and healthy but the drive was steep and in time to come that will become a problem so we decided to move while we are still healthy.
Both bathrooms and kitchen of our house were renovated in recent times and we thought the house was generally in a very saleable condition. We contacted a selected few real estate agents to appraise the property including Brian from Professionals. After much deliberation on our art we selected the Professionals to handle the sale of the property based on his presentation and experience.
Only one open was necessary to receive an offer on our house which we rejected as too low. We then countered this with a price that was accepted by the purchaser. Brian was very helpful with his advice based on his experience. Brian also kept us advised on the progress of the sale right through and was always available if we had any questions.
Thank you to Brian and the Professionals for a quick and efficient sale of our home in Hallett Cove.

I am sorry it has taken so long to reply to your letter.
We have completed our move in and now very happy.
Helen and I were very pleased with the way you dealt with the whole process of selling out house. As you may remember we had been there for 42 years from a bare block of land, and never done anything like this before.
We were constantly getting letter drops from real estate people looking for business. We invited one to appraise our house. His estimate and advice was similar to yours, his approach was not quite as friendly as your team.
As selling had a very high fear factor for us, we asked our friends who had sold their homes, it was from their experience we made the decision to engage you at Christies Beach Professionals. I have always found word of mouth to be the best way to do business.
Your detailed advice on how to prepare our old property for sale was very good and with your recommendation of Chris Chromb to do the gardening. He did such a good job and we had him come to our new unit to prepare the floor for our garden shed.
You and Tristan presented very friendly and professional from the first meeting.
It was from that first meeting we felt at ease and believed we could reach our goal.
During the sale preparation, it was nice of you, Kevin, to call in from time to time even though Tristan was handling the sale. We thought that was caring as a business Managing Director.
Tristan was very friendly and polite in his dealings with us; he was always available if we wished to contact him. He phones many times to keep us in contact with the process. Nothing was too much trouble for him; every question was answered in detail in a manner we understood. We were impressed in the manner Tristan managed the process to the first open day.
Tristan’s feedback after the first open was detailed with an air of confidence. This made us feel hopeful a sale was a reality, which it was.
Final negotiations during the cooling off period was a bit stressful, but Tristan was always very confident that he could achieve a bit more after the monetary push back caused by some points in the building inspection.
He did achieve a good price and our move to our new place was a reality.
I would like to thank you for the choice of conveyancer. She did a very good job, very friendly and helpful explaining all the processes needed to complete the paper work and money.
She worked nicely with the retirement village management to complete the finance side of moving into the retirement village.
Dealing with the Kevin Barry Professionals was easy and a pleasure.

Tristan Edwards from the Professionals provided me with excellent service from the time we met to discuss listing the property right through until settlement. He kept me updated throughout the process in regards to feedback from prospective purchasers and their interest in the property.
Additionally, Tristan was professional, polite, sensitive and friendly which made me feel very confident having the Professionals manage the sale.
